A human society is a composition of the People and the Land, that are the source of material / physical wealth. It is not Currency or so-called Investment or Banks or whatever other nonsense we are led / or made to believe. Currency or Investment or Banks are merely financial instruments serving as means of distributing, exchanging and utilizing the same material / physical wealth , but the source of prosperity is and will always be the Human Being and the Land which he / she resides upon.
It is the human being who, through use of his or her intellectual and physical faculties transforms the various resources of our planet into substances we can use, to uphold a standard of dignified human material existence.
A certain minority of humanity though, feel Ordained by God or themselves ( They tend to confuse the two ) to be the Lords of everyone and the rightful owners of everything. They want to control all Peoples, own all the water, all the land, the air, the mountains, the plants, the minerals, the timber, the animals, the food, and in fact if they could , they would claim the Stars as their very own . Best to know in future there will be Star wars to be fought for that .
Now in a more mature world , these Lunatics would be dismissed as the nutcases they are, and that would be that. Unfortunately due to Human naivety these maniacs have formed over the course of history oligarchies that have consistently hijacked entire communities and civilisations, into becoming the means, by which they can live out their little God complex life .
Their technique is simple. Ideally, a government should be a group of people who undertake the task of Organising the Society, so that there are institutions which can aid the People in realising life and liberty. Through bribery, malice and outright violence, these so called Elites oligarchies have time and time again managed to transform Governments and their Institutions into instruments by which they Dispossess, Enslave and Condition people to what amounts to the life of a farm animal – hence the description . And this seems African Governments have been trasformed to be and to become still .
Elaborate systems are put in place on an increasingly Global level to ensure you and me feel we have no other choice but to work like donkey’s for the rest of our lives making a clique of these few Psychopathics rich.
Beyond Government we have a Sovereign who ideally is the representation of the will of the people ( Capacity ). But again, what to do if the Sovereign is part of the elites World Mafia, or too scared to stand up for the freedom of his people or simply killed and replaced with a candidate more to the liking of Oligarchy . This is where nearly and if not all African Governments have been Reduced to .
In otherwords different African Socities have fully been hijacked . The Socities have become like a farm animal centers , kept only to provide a labour force and ultimately meat for the cannibalistic appetites of the oligarchic farmers. The whole population of one Human kind is therefore being conditioned into believing that it is civilised to lead ones life as a chicken in a coop and a mortal sin to live as a free human being. .
Really this inhuman existence is proclaimed as the Global order, the International community, Democracy, Freedom etc. Anyone unwilling to be a part is uncivilised or barbaric and must be fought caught and destroyed.
The Barbaric, as the oligarchs term them, are those who wish to live according to their own cultures, beliefs and ways of life, not according to a counterfeit world wide Uncivilisation designed to lure humanity into becoming serfs and slaves for a minute minority.
The Global elite, corporate rich, oligarchs ( the insanity has many names ) bleed us dry, like leeches feasting on our blood, but ironically this is where their weakness lies. In the hijacked societies the governments provide nothing for the people, leaving a vacuum. Their job is to rob, not help. Therefore in these communities the populations have No choice to either organise themselves but sit like pathetic victims wondering when the suffering will stop.
When we choose to organise ourselves outside the oligarchic Uncivilisation, we become full-fledged Barbarians . Our supposed lack of culture is our refusal to obey Western Norms and Institutions disguised as International laws and International Institutions. It is this single act which will end the reign of injustice on the planet. In essence it is our refusal to be chickens and our insistence on our human dignity. For this reason the Oligarchs global Media Outlets constantly crow “ Beware of the Barbarians”.
We - the barbarians - are sounding the end of their Imperial Reign for the chickens will become Eagles .
A nation such as the United States, which from its birth has excelled in the practice of violence and oppression is not going to just turn around and do the opposite of all that it truly stands for, in the name of Civil rights, Human rights or some fairy tale about the Rainbow nation or melting pot. Anybody who believes otherwise is living in a state of Denial , confusing the murderous criminal syndicate that has run and continues to run the USA for a government.
The logic they operate on is Might is right . " Because I am right I have been given Might." Therefore my use of might can NEVER be wrong. All the talk of freedom, the American dream and an unique constitution amounts to nothing more, than sprinkling a kilo of sugar on a ton of manure and pretending it is cake.
To this day the genocidal history of the United States is brushed aside as the past. Its over and done with, “ Let’s look to the future ” is the term applied now . In reality America sought and still seeks through the doctrine of “ Manifest Destiny ” not only Hegemony of the World, but Anglo-Saxon Hegemony of the world.
This isn’t something we are inventing or some Secret conspiracy only known by the enlightened few , it’s an open fact. In the early 19th and 20th centuries figures such as Presidents William Mckinley and Theodore Roosevelt , Senator Albert J. Beveridge of Indiana or famed editor William Allen White were all avid supporters of this thinking and openly said so. They carried out and advocated policies based on these ideas.
This thinking continued in people like Henry Kissinger and his insane recommendations and policies such as his famed memo on population control – the NSSM directive, 200 signed in April 1974 - or the Clinton Administration and their hand in facilitating the current Terror gripping Congo today, through their support for various pro-Anglo American groups and Governments ( especially South Africa, Uganda and Rwanda ) in the hope of controlling the resources and populations of that entire region.
The latest version of this mental disease is the Neo-con Mafia conglomerate who even openly speak of the American century and the perpetual or “ Long War ” to maintain control of the world’s resources.
Simply put, if a nation, built off the organised oppression of people, especially Africans, refuses to acknowledge the wrong it has done and continues in such practices, then it does not see this oppression as wrong. Barbara Bush feared, that the “ underprivileged people ” mainly BLACK families being housed in Texas after loosing everything due to hurricane Katrina, would never leave, as the Texas hospitality was “ working well for them ”. The plight of Africans outside of the motherland of Africa is not a singularly American problem. Western Europe`s track record is no better than their cross Atlantic cousin’s when it comes to the treatment of Africans till todate .
One could argue the Europeans have been more cunning in covering their historical tracks and denying the ongoing abuses of Africans living as refugees and immigrants in the Western lands. The ugly face of racist sentiment still lives and is currently being transformed by a political swing to the right, into a fascist re-awakening disguising itself as the defender of liberal democratic and / or Judeo - Christian Western values.
A look at some of the hard facts regarding the modern history of Africans in Europe reveals the same old story of Western Uncivilisation. The crocodile tears and moral sermons, we are served on human rights and universal values are as convincing as a lion lecturing on the virtues of vegetarianism .
Lets take a walk down memory lane to1919 when angry white mobs attacked African seamen and their families, working and living in the Port of Liverpool. Let us examine the plight of the Black Africans who lived in Germany between the World War I and World War II, many of them considered themselves to be German but that argument didn’t help them when the Nazis began implementing their race policies.
The ill treatment of the Children of African students and Romanian mothers in Romania or the attacks African students have been suffering in Russia. The current discrimination and police brutality against Africans in France which led to wide spread riots. The Brixton Race riots of the early 80`s which occurred at a time when Black people in England were under increasing attack from fascist groups.
These are merely a few examples of what we face and have faced as Africans in the Western Lands. What makes the current situation more perilous are the present Political winds blowing over Europe. An anti foreigner right wing tendency has taken a firm hold in the Hearts and minds of the Western Lands. Immigrants, Asylum seekers and how to stop them from entering “ the Promised Land ” of Europe are the key issues of most Western European elections and political debates.
Attention paid to the social and economic challenges that face the West, can be diverted away by politicians, not interested in dealing with the contentious problems of a fundamental change to the Western European social models, by screaming it’s all the foreigners fault. Our very existence becomes criminalised in Europe . .
In the same way the supposed War on Terror is used to 1) divert attention of the populace and keep them focused on a shadowy enemy whose existence is highly questionable and 2) unleash oppression ( economically, politically, security wise, etc ) on any one from other societies, especially of African and Middle Eastern origin. .. We become the enemy within, barbarian infiltrators waiting to be activated against our civilized and benevolent hosts
Once the Link between foreigners and terrorism, is explicit and complete in the Western mind then the real fascism will begin. Force employed against the non – European foreigners living in Europe, will become more and more acceptable and be able to serve as a social safety valve, for venting general social dissatisfaction at the changes and upheaval western society is and will be experiencing..
In the growing climate of instability in the world, it becomes a growing necessity for the managers of Western societies ( the Power elites or corporate rich ) to have some kind of Enemy or threat at which the General public can direct their fear and eventually anger at. If not, these emotions will surely find the true authors of the growing problems namely the same elite groupings and demand a change.
If these elite groupings were to honestly explain the changes needed, the population might become enraged, if it meant that the sacred Mass consumption lifestyle and the economic security of the Western citizen could no longer continue as usual. Therefore scape goats " African population Immigrants and Refugees " are required.
1. As if it is the fault of these immigrants and refugees that the world consumes 6 barrels of oil for every one the Western World pull out of the ground?
2. As if it is the fault of these immigrants and refugees that demographically the Western World isn’t producing enough children to sustain its future economic survival ?
3. As if it is the fault of these immigrants and refugees that the populations of elderly citizens is ever increasing, adding a growing strain to the welfare system of Western Europe?
4. As if it is the fault of these Immigrants and refugees that the oil supply of the world is peaking, meaning that the cost of getting one barrel of oil out of the ground is becoming disproportionately expensive compared to the actual cost of a barrel of oil ?
5. As if it is the fault of immigrants and refugees that the speculative nature of the world financial system is destabilizing and threatening the Western created global economy and Mass consumption society ?
6. As if it is the fault of these Immigrants and refugees that Carbon Dioxide emissions are pushing us towards climatic changes we haven’t understood the full consequences of and still are trying to deny ?
Of course not, but to save their own sorry behinds, the controllers of western Societies are bound to, as things get worse, resort to that age old tried and tested remedy, when the masses are unruly and seeking answers one can’t give: Populism. Let us not forget the birth place of modern fascism and the manipulation of the populace through mass media is the Western world.
We as Africans, for that is what we are, must not fall into the daydream of thinking “ oh we are Danish, Swedish, English, French, etc ” because we are not and when it comes to a critical situation, all it will take is one look at our black skin, thick lips and curly hair to be pronounced as non – European, as Africans, with all the negative connotations this identification will bring with it in the Western Lands..
We must come to terms with this reality. The desperation, animosity and paranoia is growing in the so- called free world without identity issue for the Africans . No matter how much we wish to flee our origins, the West will pursue us as surely as our shadows. An EU passport won’t change the colour of your skin or the fact that you are a child of Mama Africa. It is better to accept the realities now, than regret not accepting them later EU today will always think of feeding and protecting her people first than think of AU and her people . This is Politics and marks no dividing line between a history of today and that of yesterday being felt in the Western World By then it will be clear that one foolishly believes the present Elites of todays Europe talking of Rights, co-existence and the multicultural society AND TELL AFRICANS TO FORGET THEIR IDENTITY , then to me there won’t be a thing you will be able to do about it and that is the tragedy of it for Africa . MAY BE AFRICA INTURN WILL RECALL NOW OF THE SET UP OF THE PAN AFRICANISM - 1045..

Really this inhuman existence is proclaimed as the Global order, the International community, Democracy, Freedom etc. Anyone unwilling to be a part is uncivilised or barbaric and must be fought caught and destroyed.
The Barbaric, as the oligarchs term them, are those who wish to live according to their own cultures, beliefs and ways of life, not according to a counterfeit world wide Uncivilisation designed to lure humanity into becoming serfs and slaves for a minute minority.
The Global elite, corporate rich, oligarchs ( the insanity has many names ) bleed us dry, like leeches feasting on our blood, but ironically this is where their weakness lies. In the hijacked societies the governments provide nothing for the people, leaving a vacuum. Their job is to rob, not help. Therefore in these communities the populations have No choice to either organise themselves but sit like pathetic victims wondering when the suffering will stop.
When we choose to organise ourselves outside the oligarchic Uncivilisation, we become full-fledged Barbarians . Our supposed lack of culture is our refusal to obey Western Norms and Institutions disguised as International laws and International Institutions. It is this single act which will end the reign of injustice on the planet. In essence it is our refusal to be chickens and our insistence on our human dignity. For this reason the Oligarchs global Media Outlets constantly crow “ Beware of the Barbarians”.
We - the barbarians - are sounding the end of their Imperial Reign for the chickens will become Eagles .
A nation such as the United States, which from its birth has excelled in the practice of violence and oppression is not going to just turn around and do the opposite of all that it truly stands for, in the name of Civil rights, Human rights or some fairy tale about the Rainbow nation or melting pot. Anybody who believes otherwise is living in a state of Denial , confusing the murderous criminal syndicate that has run and continues to run the USA for a government.
The logic they operate on is Might is right . " Because I am right I have been given Might." Therefore my use of might can NEVER be wrong. All the talk of freedom, the American dream and an unique constitution amounts to nothing more, than sprinkling a kilo of sugar on a ton of manure and pretending it is cake.
To this day the genocidal history of the United States is brushed aside as the past. Its over and done with, “ Let’s look to the future ” is the term applied now . In reality America sought and still seeks through the doctrine of “ Manifest Destiny ” not only Hegemony of the World, but Anglo-Saxon Hegemony of the world.
This isn’t something we are inventing or some Secret conspiracy only known by the enlightened few , it’s an open fact. In the early 19th and 20th centuries figures such as Presidents William Mckinley and Theodore Roosevelt , Senator Albert J. Beveridge of Indiana or famed editor William Allen White were all avid supporters of this thinking and openly said so. They carried out and advocated policies based on these ideas.
This thinking continued in people like Henry Kissinger and his insane recommendations and policies such as his famed memo on population control – the NSSM directive, 200 signed in April 1974 - or the Clinton Administration and their hand in facilitating the current Terror gripping Congo today, through their support for various pro-Anglo American groups and Governments ( especially South Africa, Uganda and Rwanda ) in the hope of controlling the resources and populations of that entire region.
The latest version of this mental disease is the Neo-con Mafia conglomerate who even openly speak of the American century and the perpetual or “ Long War ” to maintain control of the world’s resources.
Simply put, if a nation, built off the organised oppression of people, especially Africans, refuses to acknowledge the wrong it has done and continues in such practices, then it does not see this oppression as wrong. This causes the further continuation of the same policies and thinking of the psat and to be protrcted.
If the Police forces in the USA do not hesitate to brutalise and kill Africans in America, if the American Judiciary does not hesitate to mass incarcerate, exterminate - through capital punishment - and enslave Africans in America through prison labour schemes, if America continues to consider Africans in America as wild savages and a threat to public safety, how could they react to the plight of Africans in America in a humane and charitable fashion?
Barbara Bush feared, that the “ underprivileged people ” mainly BLACK families being housed in Texas after loosing everything due to hurricane Katrina, would never leave, as the Texas hospitality was “ working well for them ”. This is a clear case of the Afrophobia that gripped White America, at the thought of Black people in large numbers being placed anywhere near them.
The BLACK hurricane victims were referred to as Refugees. A refugee is a foreigner who seeks refuge within a foreign country. In using this terminology the Americans revealed their true view of the Africans in their midst. Not as a fellow Americans but as FOREIGNERS.
The amount of blatantly racist and bigoted remarks, that were uttered by all types of supposedly eminent persons and journalists in America, clearly show what lurks behind the faзade of democracy and freedom the USA loves to project to the world. Africans in America are viewed as members of a race who have no worth. A problem to be rid of. A disease, within the otherwise healthy body of USA. The myth of the American dream, portraying a nation where anybody can rise to prominence, fame and fortune, despite their humble beginnings does not apply to broad mass of the black community of USA.
The true face of the USA , is that of a nation which is willing to kill, exploit and plunder, to whatever degree necessary, to maintain a steady flow of wealth to a limited Elite and a comfortable standard of living for a certain segment of the general populace in order to keep them pacified.
The elimination of Black activists and political leaders through the COINTELL (counter intelligence) program in the 1960ґs and 70`s clearly demonstrates the real intent of those who, when it comes to the reality of power politics, are the United States, the Corporate Rich. The aim is the general destruction of the Africans in America as a people.

The plight of Africans outside of the motherland of Africa is not a singularly American problem. Western Europe`s track record is no better than their cross Atlantic cousin’s when it comes to the treatment of Africans till todate .
One could argue the Europeans have been more cunning in covering their historical tracks and denying the ongoing abuses of Africans living as refugees and immigrants in the Western lands. The ugly face of racist sentiment still lives and is currently being transformed by a political swing to the right, into a fascist re-awakening disguising itself as the defender of liberal democratic and / or Judeo - Christian Western values.
A look at some of the hard facts regarding the modern history of Africans in Europe reveals the same old story of Western Uncivilisation. The crocodile tears and moral sermons, we are served on human rights and universal values are as convincing as a lion lecturing on the virtues of vegetarianism .
Lets take a walk down memory lane to1919 when angry white mobs attacked African seamen and their families, working and living in the Port of Liverpool. Let us examine the plight of the Black Africans who lived in Germany between the World War I and World War II, many of them considered themselves to be German but that argument didn’t help them when the Nazis began implementing their race policies.
The ill treatment of the Children of African students and Romanian mothers in Romania or the attacks African students have been suffering in Russia. The current discrimination and police brutality against Africans in France which led to wide spread riots. The Brixton Race riots of the early 80`s which occurred at a time when Black people in England were under increasing attack from fascist groups.
These are merely a few examples of what we face and have faced as Africans in the Western Lands. What makes the current situation more perilous are the present Political winds blowing over Europe. An anti foreigner right wing tendency has taken a firm hold in the Hearts and minds of the Western Lands. Immigrants, Asylum seekers and how to stop them from entering “ the Promised Land ” of Europe are the key issues of most Western European elections and political debates.
Attention paid to the social and economic challenges that face the West, can be diverted away by politicians, not interested in dealing with the contentious problems of a fundamental change to the Western European social models, by screaming it’s all the foreigners fault. Our very existence becomes criminalised in Europe . .
In the same way the supposed War on Terror is used to 1) divert attention of the populace and keep them focused on a shadowy enemy whose existence is highly questionable and 2) unleash oppression ( economically, politically, security wise, etc ) on any one from other societies, especially of African and Middle Eastern origin. .. We become the enemy within, barbarian infiltrators waiting to be activated against our civilized and benevolent hosts
Once the Link between foreigners and terrorism, is explicit and complete in the Western mind then the real fascism will begin. Force employed against the non – European foreigners living in Europe, will become more and more acceptable and be able to serve as a social safety valve, for venting general social dissatisfaction at the changes and upheaval western society is and will be experiencing..
In the growing climate of instability in the world, it becomes a growing necessity for the managers of Western societies ( the Power elites or corporate rich ) to have some kind of Enemy or threat at which the General public can direct their fear and eventually anger at. If not, these emotions will surely find the true authors of the growing problems namely the same elite groupings and demand a change.
If these elite groupings were to honestly explain the changes needed, the population might become enraged, if it meant that the sacred Mass consumption lifestyle and the economic security of the Western citizen could no longer continue as usual. Therefore scape goats " African population Immigrants and Refugees " are required.
1. As if it is the fault of these immigrants and refugees that the world consumes 6 barrels of oil for every one the Western World pull out of the ground?
2. As if it is the fault of these immigrants and refugees that demographically the Western World isn’t producing enough children to sustain its future economic survival ?
3. As if it is the fault of these immigrants and refugees that the populations of elderly citizens is ever increasing, adding a growing strain to the welfare system of Western Europe?
4. As if it is the fault of these Immigrants and refugees that the oil supply of the world is peaking, meaning that the cost of getting one barrel of oil out of the ground is becoming disproportionately expensive compared to the actual cost of a barrel of oil ?
5. As if it is the fault of immigrants and refugees that the speculative nature of the world financial system is destabilizing and threatening the Western created global economy and Mass consumption society ?
6. As if it is the fault of these Immigrants and refugees that Carbon Dioxide emissions are pushing us towards climatic changes we haven’t understood the full consequences of and still are trying to deny ?
Of course not, but to save their own sorry behinds, the controllers of western Societies are bound to, as things get worse, resort to that age old tried and tested remedy, when the masses are unruly and seeking answers one can’t give: Populism. Let us not forget the birth place of modern fascism and the manipulation of the populace through mass media is the Western world.
We as Africans, for that is what we are, must not fall into the daydream of thinking “ oh we are Danish, Swedish, English, French, etc ” because we are not and when it comes to a critical situation, all it will take is one look at our black skin, thick lips and curly hair to be pronounced as non – European, as Africans, with all the negative connotations this identification will bring with it in the Western Lands..
We must come to terms with this reality. The desperation, animosity and paranoia is growing in the so- called free world without identity issue for the Africans . No matter how much we wish to flee our origins, the West will pursue us as surely as our shadows. An EU passport won’t change the colour of your skin or the fact that you are a child of Mama Africa. It is better to accept the realities now, than regret not accepting them later EU today will always think of feeding and protecting her people first than think of AU and her people . This is Politics and marks no dividing line between a history of today and that of yesterday being felt in the Western World By then it will be clear that one foolishly believes the present Elites of todays Europe talking of Rights, co-existence and the multicultural society AND TELL AFRICANS TO FORGET THEIR IDENTITY , then to me there won’t be a thing you will be able to do about it and that is the tragedy of it for Africa . Of all the disguises the colonialists have used and still use, the most lethal is that of the holy man. Hiding behind the image of charity, brotherly love and a blonde and blue eyed Jesus – a counterfeit version of Yehoshua or Yeshua ( that what he was really called ) – missionaries, preachers and churches became some of the most culturally destructive agents ever to walk the African continent.
Counterfeit Christianity is of course not the only culprit in the art of theological trickery and race based anti-spirituality. Practitioners of other religions have at various times unleashed the same sort of nonsense and justified their destruction of the ways of life of other peoples - in our case the Africans - with the reasoning that they were and are doing, the primitives a favour: saving them from their heathen and unenlightened selves.
It is without a doubt though, that the damage inflicted on the African Psyche, the self loathing, the inferiority complexes and the shameless refusal to accept anything inherently African as having merit or value stems from a mindset propagated by the agents of counterfeit Christianity.
Like a biblical plague of locusts, the missionaries descended upon our societies, bringing a forged version of the teachings of Yeshua the Nazarene. This lie they sold to us through the brand name of Christianity introduced a guilt ridden, self defeating, shame based venom to the African mind, disguised as the teachings of the supposed one and only Son of God.
The young African was delivered into the hands of these merchants of mental death through the colonial education system. Colonial state and colonial church worked hand in hand to ensure the oppressed lost all knowledge of self and sense of human dignity.
Lets set a few facts straight for those still clamouring to a slave mentality disguised as Christianity. The religion which you believe in, just to take one example, believes you to be less than human and cursed by God. Already I can hear the screams of disbelief and the accusations of blasphemy but bear with me for a moment and all shall be revealed.
The root of this thinking is thousands of years of old. It is a thought system that can be traced to the older religious beliefs, from which the Christianity preached by missionaries sprang.
It contains what came to be a basic corner stone in the justification of the oppression of Africans over the past millennia: The Curse of Canaan.
his myth is mentioned in the Babylonian Talmud, the Book of Genesis, the Book of Jubilees and the Haggadah – which is a collection of Jewish folk lore comprising the non legal parts of the Talmud. It states in one of its forms :
“ The descendants of Ham through Canaan therefore have red eyes because Ham looked upon the nakedness of his father, they have misshapen lips because Ham spoke with his lips to his brothers about the unseemly condition of his father, they have twisted curly hair because ham turned and twisted his neck around to see the nakedness of his father and so they go about naked because Ham did not cover the nakedness of his father. Thus, he was requited, for it is the way with God to mete out punishment measure for measure. Canaan had to suffer vicariously for his father’s sin. Yet some punishment was inflicted upon him on his own account, for it had been Canaan who had drawn the attention of Ham to Noah’s revolting condition. Ham it appears was but a worthy father of such a son. The last will and testament of Canaan to his children reads as follows: speak not the truth, hold not yourselves aloof from theft, hate your master with exceeding great hate and love one another. As ham was made to suffer requital for his irreverence Shem and Japhet received a reward for the filial deferential way in which they took a garment and laid it upon their shoulders and walking backwards, with averted faces covered the nakedness of their father. Naked the descendants of Ham, the Ethiopians and Egyptians were led away captive and into exile by the King of Assyria.”

Other versions of the curse claim the descendants of Ham are cursed by God to be slaves, black and some versions even attribute the shape and size of the black mans genitals to this God given retribution.
The essence in the myth is as follows: Black folks are degenerate and God cursed them for that type of behaviour. The logical follow up to the preceding point is, that if God hates them, then we (meaning anyone non black) is fully sanctioned to unleash all manner of hell upon them or “save them” from their degenerate selves.
At times unleashing hell and “saving the savages” became 2 sides of the same coin, at others junctions in history it was one approach over the other, but without a doubt the driving force behind any action taken was always that same sorry song: God cursed U.
This strand of thinking has managed to infiltrate all 3 major religions – Christianity, Judaism and Islam – in varying degrees.
On top of that, it has taught the African to hate him and herself to such a degree that we have become unable to love, cherish and defend ourselves as a people. The most perverse part of it is we hate ourselves in the name of a loving God. Thought patterns, Alien to our original civilization and culture, which view us as sub humans have become our core belief systems.
The examples of hatred for the Black African, layered in so called religious traditions, which have shaped the outlook of millions through history, are abundant. Joseph Smith, founder of the Mormons based his exclusion of blacks from his religious movement on the basis of the curse. The, to this day, prevalent view of the black male as an oversexed beast, ready to stick his oversized genitalia into anything that moves stems from here.
Even something as up to date as the approach taken to the issue of AIDS: that it is a matter of changing the sexual morality of Africans and improving their hygiene is an echo of colonial missionary thinking, which viewed the Africans as diseased, dirty and sexually out of control. These missionaries were again well versed in the initial source of this thinking, the curse.
The Catholic Church used the curse to justify its heavy involvement in the slave trade. Bishop John Brown of the Bristol Diocese was a signatory to the Asiento treaty, which agreed that Britain would export 4800 Black slaves from Africa to the Spanish Colonies in America annually.
Islamic and Jewish salve merchants and scholars used the curse to justify the trans- Saharan slave trade. Moses Maimonedes, the famous medieval scholar and rabbi considered black people higher than apes but lower than humans, akin to irrational animals. He expounded these ideas in the text “guide to the perplexed”.
Al Jahiz (Abu Uthman Al Jahiz), a famous Arabic scholar from Basra, who was a black African, wrote a rebuttal to the racist propaganda that had begun to flourish, as a result of a revolt which encompassed the entire southern Iraq, by black slaves as well as resident Africans in the area. In “The Essays” written circa 860 AD he states blackness is not a disfigurement or punishment sent by God.
Religion means to reconnect, to remember, one could say to realign oneself to the source of all life. Any idea that claims that a certain people are more deserving or worthy members than others in the fellowship of life is not religion but racist Hype.
